F*** Yeah. Walk this Way

I like this!

I do, specially since my grandfather, Fernando Ma. Guerrero is in the group photo of the First Philippine Assembly. He is with the thin moustache, seated lower right of photo beside the big man. Lorenzo Ma.

GSIS Arroceros, and so I got news that you will be destroyed by SM soon (if news are indeed accurate). Good Luck to you and I think it is now the perfect time to award your creator, Federico Ilustre, the National Artist Award (posthumously).
Built in 1952, the building is one of the newer Civic Buildings built by the newly independent republic for the already diversifying State Bureaucracy. The building symbolizes the start of the shift of Civic Architecture (Philippine Architecture generally) from its neoclassical/colonial trappings to the development of a separate Philippine Modern Architecture.

The New York City Highline. A converted elevated railway that was turned into a public park and promenade connecting the Meat Packing district to upper Chelsea. One of the most brilliant green engineering wonders of the modern world.
This is what I imagine we could have in Manila that would link the CCP Complex to Luneta Park to the Walls of Intramuros, Chinatown and back. Just imagine watching a sunset from an elevated park which runs from the Coconut Palace along the water to the Met Museum and all along the east side of Roxas Boulevard until Luneta up to the walls of Intramuros and thru Lawton and Binondo.
It’s not too difficult to realize, is it?
Universe. Make it happen.
